Nearly four years as a driver manager, Kingsley likes the creative side of life. Cooking, art, and board games are how he keeps life bright.
Tell me a bit about yourself, Kingsley!
I’m the oldest of 3 children and have been married for 6 years to my wife, Tia. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from North Dakota State University. In my free time, I enjoy playing board, card and video games. I also enjoy cooking and being creative.
What is your current job title?
I’m a Driver Manager for LTD. I spend most of my day assisting and coaching our drivers so they can perform their job successfully and watching trailer temperatures to prevent loss of product. Once a week I conduct the over-the-road LTD orientation.
How long have you worked at Magnum?
I have been a driver manager with Magnum for three years and four months!
What is your favorite part about working at Magnum?
My favorite part about working for Magnum is the community. Everyone is willing to help each other to get the job done. We work hard and still have fun doing it!
What advice would you give to someone just starting out at Magnum?
The advice I would give to anyone starting at Magnum would be, don’t be afraid to ask questions. Everyone is helpful and we want you to be successful.
What’s something that might surprise me to know about you?
People would be surprised to find out that I have had artwork displayed in museums, newspapers and magazines. I also did a month-long residency in South Africa studying photography and print making.
