Faces of Magnum:
Brad Devig
When he’s not chasing his twin daughters around supporting their extracurricular activities, Carrier Development/Track and Trace Specialist Brad Devig plays a huge role in the success of Magnum Logistics!
Tell me a bit about yourself, Brad!
I am married to my wonderful wife, Stacy, who is the Compliance Director at Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Dakota. We have twin 12-year-old daughters, Heather and Grace, who keep us busy with soccer, cross country, swimming, basketball, and church activities.
I have a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Criminal Justice from the University of North Dakota, and an Associate’s degree in Law Enforcement. I enjoy fishing, hunting, golfing, and spending quality time with my family.
FUN FACT: I was a Deputy Sheriff for 10 years right out of college! Afterwards, I served as an Area Asset Protection Manager for Kmart-Sears for 13 years.
What is your current job title?
I am currently a Carrier Development/Track and Trace Specialist for Magnum Logistics in our Fargo Corporate office.
As my team books loads, I reach out to the carriers and the drivers. I track the loads from pick-up to delivery, ensuring on-time completion and troubleshooting along the way.
How long have you worked at Magnum?
I’ve worked at Magnum since March 22nd, 2021. So roughly, 8 months.
What is your favorite part about working at Magnum?
Magnum is a great place to work. I enjoy the atmosphere and the work-life balance! That’s one of the best benefits in my eyes… Magnum truly cares and understands that you have a life outside of work!
Another favorite I have is listening to my co-workers banter back and forth, as they express their opinions and experiences. Everyone is approachable and always eager to help. My family and I have also enjoyed the free tickets to various Fargo-Moorhead community events!
What advice would you give to someone just starting out at Magnum?
Get to know your co-workers, they have a lot to offer! If you can’t find the answer, find me, and I’ll get you the answer you’re looking for.
What’s something that might surprise me to know about you?
I was an integral part in the writing and passing of the North Dakota Seatbelt “Buckle Up for Amy” Law back in 2000, and am very passionate about seatbelt use. So BUCKLE UP!
