Faces of Magnum:
As a firm believer in challenging yourself, Zach Dahl, Lead Account Manager, likes to challenge himself by snowboarding, golfing, and traveling as much as he can. When he’s not challenging himself on the slopes or the green, Zach believes personal drive and hard work are keys to being successful here at Magnum, and when he’s in office he does just that!
Tell me a bit about yourself, Zach!
I am originally from the Twin Cities but moved up to Fargo in 2019. I enjoy golfing, snowboarding, traveling, and playing with my 2 corgis. When I am not doing any of those things, I am typically hanging out with friends or spending time with family, or working on my car!
What is your current job title?
Lead Account Manager! A typical day for me would include meeting with other account managers to make sure they’re growing in their roles, and meeting and exceeding their goals. In addition, any concerns with shipment volume or pricing shipments are something I would assist with. I typically serve as the first point of contact for Logistics newly onboarded customers until we understand their needs and find an account manager that is a better fit.
How long have you worked at Magnum?
I started in January of 2017, so about six years now!
What is your favorite part about working at Magnum?
The culture and the exceptional work-life balance. Magnum has grown rapidly, but management has always found a way to connect with people on a more personable level.
What advice would you give to someone just starting out at Magnum?
Ask questions and challenge yourself. Magnum rewards hard work and personal drive, if you continue to challenge yourself, you’d be surprised at what you are able to achieve here!
What’s something that might surprise me to know about you?
I can do a front flip off a jump on a snowboard!
